The Official Opening of the ISI GALVANIZING PLANT

Our ability to address local demands with our own steel galvanizing facility is a source of pride for our Cambodian people, demonstrating our progress and competency. ISI STEEL, a subsidiary of ISI GROUP, held an inauguration ceremony for its new facility at KMH Industrial Park 2 on January 2, 2022, after more than two years of rigorous study and preparation. Executives, employees, partners, and customers of the ISI GROUP were among invitees to the event.

The galvanized steel coil production line was formally opened on the occasion of ISI STEEL's 25th year of operation. "In the last 10 years, we as a company have been concentrating on studying technology and manufacturing techniques to keep on enhancing our products," Mr. KANG Leng, CEO of ISI GROUP, stated why the galvanized steel coil production line was established. At the same time, we're continuing to grow our downstream steel processing operations.

As a result, in order to sustain our position as a leading firm in the steel industry, we must master the steel processing sector's higher end of the value chain. Cambodia is currently in a stage of rapid development, according to the current scenario. Steel structure buildings are an essential area for the country's construction, hence demand for steel is rising. As a result, this new facility will contribute to Cambodia's industrial growth in accordance with my country's Industrial Development Policy (IDP), as well as providing high-quality galvanized steel coil raw materials to Cambodian galvanized steel pipe businesses.
